March Pet of the Month: Maddy

My name is Maddy and I’m a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who just turned one at the end of November. I’m so excited to be Pet of the Month! It’s my first big award. I’m a city pup who loves to walk around and go to dog parks.

I want to thank Morgan for making me Pet of the Month, she’s my favorite who takes me for walks every day. Sometimes I see her with other dogs when my mom takes me for walks, and I get so excited I forget my mom is walking me. We’ve been hanging out since I was too tiny to even go outside for walks. Playtime with Morgan is the best.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME:

I’m a snuggle bug, snuggling is my favorite thing to do. I make my parents late for work because they can’t stop snuggling with me. I think they should just work from home.

I love to play with sticks, I try to sneak them in after my walks but I usually get caught.

Everything is a chew toy: dad’s dress shoes, mom’s socks, whatever I can find! It’s fun to play chase when I manage to snag something I shouldn’t.

I snore really loudly, and sometimes wake my parents up in the middle of the night. They think it’s still cute for now.

Everyone laughs at me when I play tug of war. I sound so ferocious but I don’t think they take my toughness seriously.

Outside of Morgan, Lambchop is my best friend.

I get so excited when I see anyone that my whole body wags, apparently it’s the cutest thing to watch.
